Transcript: Recommendations The Hunter Post Graduate Medical Instutite Promotional posts must form the basis of advertising Facebook advertising is cost effective A two week advertising campaign is recommended Facebook demographics are a necessity to achieve best results Research Methodology Objectives The Hunter Postgraduate Medical Institute is a not-for-profit associated entity within the University of Newcastle HPMI provides Continuing Professional Development to the health profession HPMI is a small orgnanisation which relies upon a small team to carry out a wide range of duties HPMI is the only organisation of its kind in the Hunter Region HPMI Follows a simple organisational structure The institute is currently experiencing it's busiest period ever and is expanding into the Central Coast Region The CEO has advised that the period of October 1 2016 to October 15 2016 should be used.the CEO has advised that the period of October 1 2016 to October 15 2016 should be used In the interim, the Executive Assistant has been tasked with creating template Facebook Promotional Posts (7) for approval by the CEO This will allow for the posts to be scheduled well in advance, insuring quality Research Findings There are several recommendations for the organisation supported by academic research and evidence By following these recommendations, the Hunter Post Graduate Medical Institute is allowing themselves to be able to align themselves with the objective of gaining new membership from the Central Coast Region through Facebook advertising Research Findings Results show that Facebooks advertising is very useful when targeted with demographcis The CEO outlined some key points and objectives These guidelines ultimately provided the future Facebook advertising campaign next to no boundaries. Transcript: Homeless Shelter System Implementation For the city of Cincinnati Who am I? -Derrick Hollins Jr. -Mid sophomore at UC -Currently in the Aerospace Engineering Program Intro Background Info -Homelessness is a problem in Cincinnati -Over 7000 people experienced homelessness in Cincinnati during the year 2019 (strategiestoendhomelessness.org) -838 of those people, including 10 children experienced unsheltered homelessness (strategiestoendhomelessness.org) -Through implementation of the program, we aim to cut this number down significantly by bringing shelter to the unsheltered -It is important to provide all people in the city with shelter and access to wellness Background Pictures Graph Alt: Graph of homeless population in NYC from 1983-2019 Project Description (Phase 1+2) -Homeless collect trash around the city -homeless take trash to one of many "Trash Vending Machines" located in the city -Trash is weighed and disposed -Based on weight, a ticket will print and can be redeemed at one of many shelters -These tickets will act as rent for a room in one of these shelters -Ohio Department of Transportation communication manager, Brian Cunningham, says that “It is an annoyance, it is a huge issue and it costs about a million dollars a year for ODOT District 8 in the Cincinnati area to clean up this trash” (WCPO.com).
