Some however differ from others. Loans for example is money lended to you with the intention of paying it back over time. Others such as grants are free money given to you to do as you please. Just about every club is offeref at the school. From field hockey to golf or even Harry Potter's quitich club, clubs and sports are everywhere at ASU. However any advanced or specification business courses are unavailable online. In order to pursue a business degree specifically in supply chain managment, the student must maintian above a 3.0 GPA to gradute in thier major. My best friend Mykel Bennett, is now a sophmore at Northern Arizona University. When I interviewed him this weekend he told me how amazing NAU is to him. He says its his first oppertunity to be away from home and make his name on his own. He loves the atmospher in Flagstaff and the people that fill it. However his only regret is that he wished he knew more about financial aid. Mykel is now $16,214.58 in debt for money he was loaned. ALso he wishes he would of academically payed attention his freshman year because now he playing catch up for his major. Way to go Mykel your off to a solid Start kid!!! A bachlears of arts degree is a humanities based degree that is a more of a broad and general knowledge degree, while a bachlers of science degree is based more off of science and agian is a broad and general overview of the specific proffession. For me I can Finantial aid is always available, you just need to know where to look. First off filling out your FAFSA form is the smartest start off point. Still more money is essential. I reccomend you visit scholarship sites such as those on your high school;s college and career center site. In the summer of 2010, my senior summer, I can start to apply for financial aid. Once this time period hits I can renew and apply for aid every following year. For myself, the Hispanic scholarship fund gives out $150,000 in money to eligible hispancis which i qualify for. As a student, I'm going to need some money. Thats why ASU provides a work-learn program where students work on campus and are givin a paycheck that is half given to you in cash and half goes to aiding your educational needs. About junior year, internships in your major are out there. Have ASU's career center jump start your working life. Freshman are not required to live on campus or dorms, however it is highly suggested. The first year on campus is said to be your experience year, and not living on campus prevents you from the full college experience. There is no term for dorm rooms, you just have to be accepted for as long as you want to stay there. If not living on campus, nearby apartments around campus allow discounts provided my the school to help house ur educational experience.
