He performed in concerts all around the world and also appeared in TV shows and movies. He also holds the record as the artist who charted the most singles on the Billboard Hot 100 without ever getting a number 1 hit. Some of his top songs were: "(Do the) Mashed Potatoes", "Baby Please Don't Go" and “Please, Please, Please”. He was inspirational because he went tho\rough a lot and made his songs special by using a blend of two different styles and making the one. The band consists of Bobby Bennett, Lloyd Stallworth, Bobby Byrd and James Brown. The group initially became famous with the hit songs “Please, Please, Please” and “Try Me”. They were included in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame alongside James Brown. Their first song is “Got a Job” that they recorded and their first charted single “Bad Girl” was nationally distributed by Chess Records. They also recorded the label’s first million-selling hit single “Shop Around” Throughout their careers, the band were also enshrined with honours for their songwriting by both BMI and ASCAP. They were also included to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012. Country music is a genre of American popular music that began in the rural regions of the Southern United States in the 1920s and 20th century Canada. Country music often consists of ballads and dance tunes with generally simple forms and harmonies accompanied by mostly string instruments such as banjoes, electric and acoustic guitars, fiddles, and harmonicas. The term country music gained popularity in the 1940s in preference to the earlier term hillbilly music. The term country music is used today to describe many styles and subgenres.. Blues is a musical form and a music genre that was developed in African-American communities in the Southern United States around the end of the 19th century. The instruments included in blues are usually: Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano, Harmonica, Double Bass, Drums, Saxophone, Vocals, Trumpet and Trombone. It was mainly formed from spirituals, work songs and rhymed simple narrative ballads. The term “The Blues” refers to the “Blue Devils”, meaning sadness and depression. The lyrics in Blues songs are usually to describe a depressed mood. Gospel is musical to represent feelings about personal or spiritual belief regarding Christian life to give a Christian twist to modern music. Gospel varies according to culture and social context like many other forms of Christian music. Gospel music is performed for many purposes such as religious or ceremonial events, for entertainment or aesthetic pleasure. Gospel music was thought to be developed in Europe and Africa and can be traced back to the early 17th century. Out of tradition, gospel music uses a lot of repetition to promote group participation. Usually, throughout the music, hymns and sacred songs are repeated in a call and response manner to allow those who could not read the opportunity to participate in worship. •One of the main performers that contributed to influencing people was Elvis Presley. He had a talented and flexible voice that could encounter many different genres of music including country, pop ballads, gospel and blues. Some of his best-selling hits were: Heartbreak Hotel, "All Shook Up", "Jailhouse Rock" •Chuck Berry is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter and one of the poineers of Rock and Roll music. Chuck Berry refined and developed rhythm and blues into the major elements that made rock and roll important with lyrics focusing on relatable subjects which made him an influence to people around the world. His best songs are “Maybellene”, “Roll Over Beethoven”, “Rock and Roll Music”, and “Johnny B. The Peak of Alternative Rock 1971 Elvis Presley Gets Off the Army 1951 As in all rock styles there are many bands that may have invented its kind. But the true first band was the Ramones.
