They were founded in 1994 with a membership of 13 local centers but as of now the organization has spread to 70 plus and are now in large urban cities as well as in small rural areas. The CCCAC staff work collaboratively with other child abuse professionals on case management, investigation, and prosecution of child abuse cases. This Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) consists of the forensic interviews, Child Protective Services, 32 local law enforcement agencies, mental health and medical professionals, the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office, and the Child to Adult Abuse Response Team Do they support a specific group of people? Transcript: Junior is surrouned by racism at the reservation and at reardan. At reardan he is surrouned by white classmates and has to put up with racist jokes and nicknames from his classmates and teachers and penelopes dad who doesnt want junoir to get her pregnant and make "charcoal" babies. And at the reservation they always put down white people. Themes in the book Characters in this book Rowdy Arnold/Junior Junior gets bullied on the reservation and as well at reardan, he always has to opion of that getting to him but he overcomes it. Junior uses humor to offset life's most difficult challenges. Junior often descirbes when he gets bullied in a sarcaic tone. And he also draws comic strips in a funny way and displays his hard times in a funny way. He also makes alot of jokes. Loss -Rowdy has a abusive, alcoholic father -Has very bad anger issues and frustration by beating up other kids -protective of junior -Rowdys spents most of his time at juniors house and stuck by his side at school so no one beat him up -When Junior transferred to the white school rowdy cannot get over the fact that he left them and "betrayed" his culture. Humor -Juniors dad is often drunk and is hardly at home -Not a mean drunk like rowdys dad but is often depressed -He is always supportive of juniors decisions and always tries to help out as much as he can considering they're poor. -He sings good and he plays the guitar and paino a bit. That was my charatcers and themes for the book " The absolutely true diary of a part time indian. Racism Junior loses alot of people throughout the book. His dog, grandmother, sister, as well as his dads bestfriend who was like a uncle to him died. Junior says that "death is quite common on the reservation." Losing all of those people caused junior to a loss of hope which he struggles with throughtout the book. And he also loses his bestfriend rowdy. He doesnt die but he lost his bestfriend because he swicthed schools. Rowdy protected him and they grew up together but when junior swicthes schools rowdy doesnt understand why he left and feels betrayed because of that and has a hard time fogiving junior.
