Understanding view templates will make your life easier. View templates can provide default settings for new views as a starting point. houses most of the options for turning off or changing the visibility of particular objects, especially by category or by workset all of these graphic settings can be controlled with view templates... View Templates Control over the graphics requires an understanding of the data embedded within the model and its components. As you use view templates more, you will begin to trust them to display the model information accurately. Why does this matter? View Properties dashed pink lines display your model and its information beautifully and consistently View templates can be used in a number of ways to make your workflow more efficient, to help you QC the data in your model, and to make sure your final documentation is consistent. Transcript: Free Read PowerPoint Project Judith Rumelt, better known by her pen name Cassandra Clare, is an American author of young adult fiction. Main Characters Summary Prominent literary item Will Herondale-Will has dark hair and ocean blue eyes. Will is rude and cruel because he believes everyone that loves him will die. He believes this because a demon put a 'curse' on him. Tessa Gray- Tessa has blonde hair and grey eyes. She is very witty and enjoys literature. Recommendation of book Setting Jem Carstairs-Jem has silver hair and eyes, due to the drug he was tortured with before his family was killed. He plays the violin and is very kind, caring, and lovable. The most unique thing in Clockwork Angel is that there are supernatural occurrences such as demons, shape shifters, witches, vampires, and werewolves, etc. I definitely recommend Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare. I recommend this book because it uses great figurative language, such as "The machine walked like a man." Also, "There was a boy standing in front of her. He couldn´t have been much older than she was-seventeen or possibly eighteen. He was dressed in what looked like workman´s clothes-a frayed black jacket, trousers, and tough-looking boots. He wore no waistcoat, and thick leather straps crisscrossed his waist and chest. Attached to the straps were weapons-daggers and folding knives and things that looked like blades of ice. In His left hand-slim and long fingered-was bleeding where she had gashed the back of it with her pitcher. But that wasn´t what made her stare. He had the most beautiful face she had ever seen. Tangled black hair and eyes like blue glass. Elegant cheekbones, and long, thick lashes. He looked like every fictional hero she´d ever conjured up in her head. Tessa Gray goes to London to live with her brother. When she arrives Tessa is captured by twin sisters dubbed 'the Dark Sisters'. She was tortured and forced to use her gift of shape shifting for evil until Will Herondale rescues her. He then takes her to the institute, a place for shadowhunters to be cared for. Tessa meets the residents of the institute, Charlotte Branwell, the head of the institute, Henry Branwell, Charlotte's husband and inventor of a many great inventions, Jessamine Lovelace, girly and against all things shadowhunter, Jem Carstairs, a kind but very ill shadowhunter. Presentation Themes Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare Most unique thing in the book Presentation by Canaan Hall Clockwork Angel takes place in the institute, and the Dark Sister's home. The institute is an old church with very many rooms for passing visitors. The Dark Sister's house is large but sparsly furnished, in Tessa's room there is a bed with restraints, a mirror, and a nightstand with a few books. The themes for Clockwork angel are; you always need friends that you can trust, don't judge someone by their looks you don't know what they are going through, and even someone you wouldn't expect could be the hero. Cassandra Clare One prominent literary item in the book is personification. Personification is used throughout Clockwork Angel, such as "The machine walked like a man." Another example is, "The door creaked with a noise that sounded like a scream."

Free ? Not free?

Transcript: The Suicide Note Free Zac Ibrahim Charles Whitman Charles Whitman was one of the first documented school shooters. Charles may have made the conscious decision to aim a deer rifle at people and shoot them, but he wasn't necessarily free to make that decision, for various reasons. For starters, he had a hypothalamus tumor growing in his brain. This caused him to be mentally unstable, have aggressive impulses, lose control of his emotions and basically turn into a psychopath. He knew what he was doing was wrong, but didn't care, because of this tumor. Another reason for him not having a free decision is because he had a very hard family life and upbringing. It's not a valid reason for him to do what he did, but it caused him to grow up thinking he was worthless, which influenced him to do what he did. Delia and Serena Carly is a teenage girl whom is diagnosed with autism. She communicates by typing on a computer. She is just as smart as any other teenage girl, but she says her body disables her from living and communicating normally, and that she wishes her dad could spend a day in her body, so he would understand how hard it is for her. She may have been free to make the decision to type, but she did not choose to have her disability. she is not entirely free, because having autism makes it more difficult to do everyday things. she may have free will, but having autism prevents her from doing alot of things, and makes it harder for her to live and communicate normally, which makes her not free. The son of a terrorist had all going against him in his upbringing. If he became a terrorist , the society could have heavily relied on the defense of him following his father's foot steps. But why , unlike Whitman, did he choose a different path? Free We all have hurdles. We can freely choose to break free and have these hurdles be a driving force for success and victory. Free He was a former altar boy and at the age of 12 was among the youngest to achieve Eagle Scout. He joined the Marines to which he earned a Good Conduct Metal. Got accepted to UT 's mechanical engineering school. Sigmund Freud's stages of development Sigmund Freud has came to the conclusion that there are 5 stages to a child's development that need nurturing as the human matures, and if they don't get the proper nurturing, it could resolve in problems later in life. for example, If an infant sucks on things too much or too little while growing, it could result in bad personality traits down the road, such as drug usage, pessimism and aggression. people who have trouble growing through each stage as children are not free because they cannot help the fact that they are the way they are. If they grew up in a bad environment, chances are that they didnt get proper nurturing through these stages, causing them to permanentley scarred, even in a slight way, and affects how they act for the rest of thier life. they are not free. Zac Ibrahim "Genie", the feral/ isolated child Free Not Free Even though he had an unstable foundation for upbringing, why did he choose to achieve so much success? Could he have stretched this side of him for the rest of his life? Sigmund Freud's illustration Carly's story Genie is the name given to a girl who had spent the first 13 years of her life locked in one room, until the police discovered her in 1971. her family neglected her severely. she had no human contact at all, exempt for when someone would bring her food or change her diaper. Nobody knew she existed, not even her mother, because her mother was blind and her father kept her a secret from the world because he was ashamed of her. This abuse and neglect caused her to never learn to speak and have no emotional control. she still cannot learn to speak, because her brain never developed properly due to the lack of stimulation it received as a child. Genie is not free, because her brain is only partially developed, making it scientifically impossible for her to learn basic things, because she is already past the stages in which she can learn them. Language needs to be introduced to a child between the ages of 2 and 6 in order for their brain to develop enough to allow them to use it down the road. Genie was not introduced to language at all until she was almost 14. Genie is not free to learn certain things, like language, because she physically cant due to the horrible way in which she grew up. She may have the free will to try, and to learn what is possible to learn, but in conclusion, she is not free. Not free Rene Descartes Carly's story Not Free Free ? Not free? ~ Abused = choice Addiction= No choice. ~ The note showed that his actions were meticulated and well thought of. ~ Him writing the note showed him being morally responsible for his actions. ~ Excusable decisions under the defense of mental incapability should be impulsive because the mind is takes over the body. ~ Descartes (Dualism.)
