They also have a lot of stress put on them and their families. IVAW and MFSO both have conventions to show their views. KaraJean Kirkland Veterans/Military People for Peace and Justice of Utah They are fighting for the rights of both American and Middle East people, condemn the terrorists and any kind of violence, so I believe they are the opposite of what I was looking for. These are some of the groups that are more what I was looking for. They both talk about bring troops home, but they also talk about support for returning veterans, active duty service people, and their families. Thank you, The End They didn't say anything specific about Veterans or the military, just that they want equal opportunity for everyone. They look for environmental security and equal opportunity for everyone. They also support democracy. I think it is important to understand the affects of war on the people who actively participate in it. I grew up with a lot of veterans in my family and it has played a major part in their lives. I believe that the issues need to be recognized and sometimes having a large turnout at a convention is a great way to make people pay attention, because the media pays attention.

Transcript: Priority Groups - Army Veterans By Will and Jenkin What are priority groups? What are priority groups? Priority groups are groups of people in society who are more reliant and need more assistance from services than others. These include the elderly, the vulnerable to disease and mentally impaired. Priority groups should be, like the name says, prioritized. How are Military Veterans a priority group? Military Veterans are a priority group because they have come from the line of duty and could have physical or mental injuries that impact them negatively. This means they are unable to do a lot of everyday things that we do normally. How are Army Veterans a priority group? How do we help Army Veterans? Army veterans are one of the most volatile priority groups in society, often being affected by mental health issues and physical health issues, because of their past as a soldier How do we help Army Veterans? What activities are we using to help these? What activities can we do for war veterans We plan to have a gala day for all different sports for all different ages of military veterans and ex service people. These activities include, Running races, Ball Sports and Other sports like chess and table tennis. We believe that showing these Veterans and ex-service-people some new sports will help them take up a hobby to help them readjust to society after being in such a different environment.
